AquaClear Foam Filter Inserts

AquaClear Foam Filter Inserts are a mechanical filter media that effectively remove particles and debris from aquarium water. It also prevents particulate waste from prematurely clogging other media in the filter. Primarily a mechanical filtration media, it also provides powerful biological filtration as friendly bacteria eventually grow inside its pore structure.

For freshwater and saltwater use.

Designed for use with the AquaClear Power Filter

Benefits:

• Traps particles and debris
• Enhances biological filtration

Directions:

• Remove filter from protective plastic bag and rinse thoroughly before use.
• Place foam filter insert into bottom section of insert basket.

Maintenance:

• Rinse foam filter monthly using water from the aquarium.
• Replace foam filter every two months.
• Never replace all filter media simultaneously to ensure a constant presence of friendly bacteria.
