Evicto

Brand Overview

Evicto is a combination topical parasite treatment containing fipronil and S-methoprene that provides broad-spectrum control of fleas, ticks, lice, and flea eggs. Applied monthly, Evicto disrupts the flea life cycle by killing adult fleas and inhibiting the development of eggs and larvae. Suitable for puppies from 8 weeks of age (weighing at least 1.5 kg), Evicto is a cost-effective alternative to other spot-on brands, offering long-lasting efficacy and convenience.

Key Benefits

Dual-action formulation: Fipronil kills adult fleas and ticks, while S-methoprene prevents eggs and larvae from developing into adults. Rapid knockdown: Begins killing fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours of application. Residual efficacy: Provides continuous protection for 30 days, reducing the need for frequent reapplication. Water-resistant: Maintains efficacy despite occasional bathing or swimming (avoid water exposure for 48 hours post-application).

Usage & Dosage

Apply Evicto spot-on once every 30 days. Select the correct pipette based on body weight:

  • Evicto for Small Dogs (1.5 – 5 kg): One 0.25 mL pipette monthly.
  • Evicto for Medium Dogs (5 – 10 kg): One 0.5 mL pipette monthly.
  • Evicto for Large Dogs (10 – 20 kg): One 1.0 mL pipette monthly.
  • Evicto for Extra Large Dogs (20 – 40 kg): One 2.0 mL pipette monthly.
Part the fur at the base of the back of the neck and apply the entire contents of the pipette directly to the skin. Do not apply to wet or damp hair—ensure the coat is completely dry. Avoid bathing or swimming for at least 48 hours post-application. Maintain consistent monthly reapplication to prevent lapses in protection.

Safety & Considerations

Evicto is generally well tolerated; mild, transient local reactions—such as redness, itching, or hair loss at the application site—may occur. Avoid contact with the dog's eyes and mouth. Do not use on puppies under 8 weeks or weighing less than 1.5 kg. If accidental ingestion by humans occurs, wash the area with soap and water and seek medical advice if necessary. Pregnant or lactating bitches may be treated with Evicto, but consult your veterinarian before use. Keep unused pipettes in their original packaging, out of reach of children and other pets, and do not allow contact with treated areas until dry.
