Royal Canin Early Renal is a complete veterinary diet formulated for adult dogs with early-stage chronic kidney disease (CKD Stage 1). Designed to support kidney health before more advanced symptoms develop, this diet helps maintain quality of life while slowing progression of renal impairment.

Early renal support

• Moderate phosphorus content to reduce kidney workload in dogs who can no longer efficiently filter excess minerals from the bloodstream.
• EPA + DHA   omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil help support renal function and reduce kidney inflammation.
• Antioxidant complex to neutralise free radicals and protect kidney cells from oxidative damage.

Optimised protein

• Balanced protein levels help decrease the production of nitrogenous waste, easing the strain on the kidneys while maintaining lean muscle mass.

When to use

This diet is recommended for adult dogs diagnosed with early-stage CKD (Stage 1). Dogs may remain on this diet until blood creatinine levels exceed the normal range, at which point they should transition to a renal support diet under veterinary supervision.

Not recommended for: puppies, pregnant or lactating dogs.
