Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline SO Urinary Dry Cat Food is specially formulated to support the urinary health of adult cats. This vet-prescribed formula helps dissolve existing struvite stones, reduce crystal recurrence, and maintain a healthier urinary environment.

Struvite stone dissolution

Clinically proven to help dissolve struvite uroliths and reduce the risk of them forming again. The formula also supports long-term urinary health through targeted mineral control.

Low RSS and urine acidification

Reduces urinary Relative Supersaturation (RSS) to lower the concentration of ions responsible for crystal formation. Urine acidifying properties help inhibit the development of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.

Urine dilution for better bladder health

Increases urine volume, helping flush out the bladder and lower the risk of urinary tract infections and crystal build-up.

Veterinary indications

This diet may be recommended for cats with:

• Struvite stone formation for dissolution and prevention
• Calcium oxalate crystals for long-term management

Not recommended for

This diet is not suitable for kittens, pregnant or lactating cats, cats with chronic kidney disease (CKD), heart disease requiring sodium restriction, hypertension, or those on urine-acidifying medication.

Additional advice

In cases of recurrent idiopathic cystitis, the wet formulation is often recommended. For older cats, it's important to check renal function before starting this diet.
