Virbac Tapewormer for Dogs and Cats your trusted solution for ensuring your pets stay tapeworm-free. This powerful deworming treatment is designed to keep your beloved furry companions healthy and happy. There are various species of tapeworms that can affect pets, with Dipylidium caninum (flea tapeworm) and Echinococcus granulosus (hydatid tapeworm) being the most significant. While flea tapeworms generally don't harm dogs, hydatid tapeworms can pose serious health risks to humans, even though they don't typically harm dogs.
Please note that due to regulatory restrictions, we CANNOT SELL this product as INDIVIDUAL TABLETS. If you're not interested in purchasing a whole bottle of 100 or 250 tablets, you might want to consider our Allwormers, which also provide tapeworm coverage and are available in smaller pack sizes.
Ensure your pets' well-being and happiness by selecting Virbac Tapewormer for Dogs and Cats. Bid farewell to tapeworm concerns and provide your furry friends with the care they truly deserve.

Directions for use | To maintain effective tapeworm control, treat all animals every three months (or every six weeks for dogs in Hydatid areas), starting at three months of age. Breeding females should be treated at mating, approximately one week before giving birth, and then every three months thereafter. Before treatment, weigh your dogs and cats. Administer all tablets at the same time, either orally or crushed and mixed with food.
Dosage Guidelines: For Dogs:
For Cats:
In Hydatid areas, it is advisable to control tapeworms every three months (or every six weeks for dogs) starting at three months of age. Additionally, breeding females should receive treatment at mating, approximately one week before giving birth, and then continue treatment every three months.
Using Virbac Tapewormer: Virbac Tapewormer is a single-dose treatment for dogs and cats. Administer the tablets as soon as possible. They can be given whole or crushed and mixed into your dog's food. If your pet continues to pass tapeworm segments despite the above treatment, it may indicate an infestation by a less common tapeworm called Spirometra erinacei, which belongs to a different family. In such cases, administer one tablet of Virbac Tapewormer for dogs and cats for every 2.5kg of body weight. |
