Instructions for Marsupials:

  • - This guide covers kangaroos, possums, wombats, koalas, bandicoots, carnivorous marsupials, and monotremes (such as echidnas and platypuses).
  • - For optimal effectiveness, feed Impact to pouch-bound marsupials within a week of their initial care, as the protective immunity from the mother's milk diminishes significantly after 7 days and may be completely depleted within 4-6 weeks.
  • - Impact can be administered in two ways: either as a daily Maintenance Dose or a short-term Concentrated Dose.
  • - Maintenance Dose: Mix 1g of Impact powder (equivalent to one moderately heaped spoon) per 100mL of milk, and repeat daily as needed. This method provides a consistent low-level of immune support throughout the care period, serving as a preventive measure.
  • - Concentrated Dose: Mix 5g of Impact powder (equivalent to five moderately heaped spoons) per 100mL of milk. Administer this dose for up to 5 days, repeating every 4 weeks as required. Ensure the joeys are adequately hydrated before feeding. This approach is recommended for newly arrived animals, sick or stressed individuals, or just before the emergence of the first pouch (Wombaroo Age Factor of 0.6).
