The Wombaroo Teat Out-of-Pouch Kangaroo/Wallaby provides a natural feeding experience for young marsupials. Its long, thin latex design supports mouth comfort, correct fit, and proper tooth development. As joeys grow, transitioning to longer teats is essential. The sleeve fits the Wombaroo Feeding Bottle or any bottle with an 18-24mm neck diameter. Carers can create a custom-sized hole to regulate milk flow. For durability, teats should be stored in an opaque, airtight container away from light and cleaned with warm soapy water after each use.

Teat Selection Guide:
The teat's shape and length should resemble the mother's for a natural fit, ensuring comfort and proper tooth eruption.
Since marsupial teats lengthen as the joey matures, gradual progression to longer teats is necessary.
A suggested guide to teat sizes and shapes is available via the link below, though individual carers should assess their animal's needs.
Creating the Right Hole Size:
Teats do not have pre-made holes, so carers should create an appropriately sized opening for their animal's needs.
A hot needle can be used to make a hole around 1 mm in diameter; larger animals may require a hole cut with scissors.
An overly small hole may lead to excessive sucking, weakening the teat and causing it to tear.
If the tip of the teat is blowing out, the hole is too small enlarge it for easier feeding.
The ideal hole size allows milk to drip out slowly when the bottle is turned upside down.
