What is the active ingredient in Bravecto Plus?
Fluralaner, a potent anti-flea, and anti-paralyzing tick agent is included in the active ingredient list of both Bravecto and Bravecto Plus. Moxidectin, another active ingredient present in Bravecto Plus, adds to the effectiveness of this product. There are several types of parasitic worms that are controlled and prevented by this drug, which include heartworms, lungworms, and intestinal worms.
Is Bravecto Plus safe for all cats?
If a cat has not already had an adverse reaction to one or more of the active ingredients in Bravecto Plus, then Bravecto Plus is safe for them as well. In order to begin using Bravecto Plus on your kittens, they need to be older than nine weeks and weigh at least 1.2kg. As they grow, their dosages can be increased to stronger doses. Are there any side effects?
Side effects after the administration of Bravecto Plus are extremely rare. In fact, they occur in less than 2.5% of treated cats. In the unlikely event that your cat is affected, they will resolve within a few hours to a few days.
How long does Bravecto Plus take to work?
Bravecto Plus is fast-acting and it starts killing pre-existing parasites and protecting your cat against new infestations 12 hours after the first application.
How often should I administer Bravecto Plus for cats?
To ensure that your feline companion is fully protected from the harmful effects of Bravecto Plus, we recommend administering it every two months.
