Australian pet parents have trusted Sentinel Spectrum to protect their pets for years. Sentinel Spectrum contains three active ingredients: lufenuron, milbemycin oxime, and praziquantel, which, combined, protects pets from fleas, intestinal worms, heartworms, and tapeworms. Sentinel Spectrum includes coverage for hydatid tapeworm, which is different from other broad-spectrum parasite prevention products.
FAQs about Sentinel Spectrum
Does Sentinel Spectrum kill fleas?
Lufenuron is an active ingredient in Sentinel Spectrum that prevents flea eggs from successfully hatching, thus breaking the flea life cycle and preventing infestations. For dogs with an active flea infestation or flea allergy dermatitis, it is recommended to administer an additional flea-killing treatment when first beginning use of Sentinel to quickly reduce adult flea numbers.
When can I give Sentinel Spectrum to my puppy?
Sentinel Spectrum can be safely administered to puppies as early as the age of six weeks, as well as to adult female dogs during pregnancy and lactation.
