What are the reasons cats need protection against deadly parasites?

There is no doubt that fleas are by far the most common external parasite affecting cats in Australia, with the cat flea (Ctenocephalides Felis) being the most common. These small blood sucking parasites jump onto the pet from the environment and feed on their blood. The presence of fleas is not only terribly uncomfortable for cats, but fleas can also transmit diseases. Cats suffering from a severe flea infestation may suffer from anemia as well.

As cats ingest fleas they discover while grooming, it is often difficult to find fleas in the hair coat of your cat. The most common sign of a flea infestation is scratching and excessive grooming, with hair loss. Some cats will develop an allergy to fleas leading to crusty red skin lesions.

Revolution PLUS works fast on adult fleas, as well as their eggs and larvae that hide in and around the home, to prevent infestations. Revolution PLUS also reduces the signs of flea allergy dermatitis bringing relief to your cat.

Paralysis ticks can be deadly to cats!

In the event that paralysis ticks are misdiagnosed, they can prove to be deadly to cats and financially and emotionally draining for their owners. In the case of paralysis ticks, it only takes one bite from a female to kill a cat and the best way to keep your cat safe is to take ongoing preventative measures. There is a risk of tick paralysis during the tick season, and it is recommended that Revolution Plus for cats is used along with daily searching for, and removing, ticks, as this risk cannot be entirely eliminated.

Revolution Plus for Cats kills paralysis ticks fast and protects for 35 days – meaning your cat is still protected even if you are a little late giving the treatment.
