Vetsense Permetrol Insecticidal Spray is a highly effective insecticidal spray and rinse concentrate designed for use on dogs and horses. It aids in controlling a range of issues including tick infestation, biting insects like Culicoides sp., stable and fly nuisance on horses, management of Queensland Itch, and treatment of allergic dermatitis (summer eczema) in dogs. Additionally, it serves as a general purpose insect repellent.

Active Constituents:

Each liter of Permetrol contains 40g of Permethrin 25:75 (cis:trans) for effective insect control.
 

Directions for Use:

Horses:

1. For pyrethroid sensitive flies, mix 10mL of Permetrol per 400mL of water. Spray as needed for fly nuisance.
2. To aid in the treatment of Queensland Itch, spray twice weekly until symptoms abate, then use as required.

Dogs:

1. Dilute 10mL of Permetrol per 400mL of water or methylated spirits for rapid drying, if desired.
2. Use for the control of fleas and ticks. Apply as directed.
3. To address allergic dermatitis (summer eczema), follow the provided instructions.

For maximum flea control:

1. Clean bedding and resting places regularly.
2. Spray the entire area with diluted product.
3. Treat all pets in the house.
4. Vacuum/clean carpets and surroundings frequently.
5. Continue treatment year-round.
6. Seek veterinary advice if flea problems persist.

NOT SUITABLE FOR USE ON CATS

Precautions:

• Avoid using the product on cats and animals under 12 weeks of age.
• For external use only. Do not apply on broken skin.
• For horses intended for human consumption, a withholding period must be observed.
• Adhere to the recommended dosage and application instructions.
